OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Joiner for our client located in Scunthorpe. You will be required to travel to client sites as and when required across Lincolnshire, mainly in the Scunthorpe and Grimsby area.

Key Requirements:

  • Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the Instructions and Documentation, relevant Quality Standards, Risk Assessment, Safety Method Statement and other relevant specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and other documents as required.
  • Select tools, equipment and supplies needed for the work they have been assigned to.
  • Completing activities as required following correct practices and appropriate procedures.
  • Using safety equipment in various places as required.
  • Working as part of a team to complete the project within the timeline indicated by the Site Supervisor.
  • Attending training and courses to keep up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques.
  • Follow Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Any other reasonable duties as decided by the Site Supervisor.

Competencies:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry.
  • Knowledge of Building and Construction.
  • Good maths knowledge.
  • The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
  • To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
  • To demonstrate responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others around you.
  • To demonstrate the reporting of any issues, incidents, near misses and good practices through safety management.
