OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Sales Executive to work for a client based in Immingham. This is a permanent position working full time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in logistics sales, especially serving the Belgium, German and Dutch markets. Iberian market also a distinct advantage.
- Be self-motivated and driven.
- Ability to generate sales leads and achieve sales goals.
- Be an effective negotiator at all levels.
- Prepare and give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Visit clients, both existing and potential.
- Prepare management reports.
- Help determine price structures and tariffs towards clients including quoting clients and follow up calls.
- Co-ordinate sale and marketing efforts.
- Finalising / closing deals including client set up, customs formalities and credit terms.
- Maintaining clients records and able to build good rapport with clients and suppliers inclusive of customer complaints / retention.
- Committed to excellent customer service.
- Competent in Microsoft applications including word, excel, outlook etc.
- Attend all relevant trade seminars, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis to establish market levels.
- Be prepared to travel within the UK and abroad as necessary.
