OLG Recruitment are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Pipe Stress Engineer for our client located in Immingham. You will be a key player in their Engineering division, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and be a part of a dynamic and innovative team. Pipe Stress Engineer Responsibilities & Duties Conducting pipe stress analysis utilising the following software (Brownfield & Greenfield) CAESAR II Conducting local stress assessments using template-based FEA NozPRO FE Pipe FE Bend Calculating flexibilities, rotations and displacements using template-based FEA Basic FFS assessments ASME B31.3 Hoop Stress Calculations Compiling formal stress documentation Compiling Stress Critical Line Lists using internal/external Stress Analysis procedures Designing and implementing pipe supports, including the design/selection of spring supports. Reviewing piping specifications. Attendance of site to obtain boundary conditions for CAESAR II modelling completion Ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations. Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, including project managers, designers, and contractors. Ability to work to budget and schedule with a good appreciation of management of change Pipe Stress Engineer Qualifications & Skills Bachelor\’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Power Generation Industries. Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe stress analysis. Experience in checking CAESAR II analysis Experience with CAESAR II, PV Elite, and other piping analysis software. Strong understanding of ASME B31.3/B16.5, PD5500, ASME VIII and other industry codes and standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office/Adobe editing software
