OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Projects E&I Design Engineer for our client located in Warrington. This is a contract position for a minimum of 10 months. This role has been assessed as inside IR35, PAYE only. You will be required on site 3 days per week and 2 days from home.
Aim: To work within the Projects E&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.
Essential:
- Academic Qualification: HNC
- Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer
- Security Clearance: SC
- Hours: 37 hours over 4 days a week
- Location: Working 3 days a week minimum at Hinton House, Warrington, Cheshire
- Experience: Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as an Electrical Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works: Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
- Providing support to Construction
- Providing support to Commissioning
- Willingness to support early career engineers
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an E&I Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works:
- Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing
- Radiometric & Special Instruments
- Safety Systems
