OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Process Instrument Design Engineer for our client located in Warrington. This is a contract position for a minimum of 12 months. This role has been assessed as inside IR35, PAYE only. You will be required on site 3 days per week and 2 days from home.
As the Process Instrument Design Engineer, you will be a part of the E&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.
Essential:
- Academic Qualification: HND
- Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer
- Security Clearance: SC
- Experience: Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a Process Instrument Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines.
- Providing support to Construction.
- Providing support to Commissioning.
- Willingness to support early career engineers.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an Instrument and Safety Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate SL Engineering Standards.
