OLG Recruitment are currently looking for two CE&I Control Systems Design Engineers for our client located in Warrington. You will be required to work within the Silos CE&I design team delivering and checking Programmable Electronic System (PES), based Control System designs/updates to meet functional and business needs. The implementation, testing and commissioning of the designs/updates is undertaken by other dedicated site-based teams. This is a contract position for a minimum of 18 months, this requirement has been assessed as inside IR35.
Essential:
- Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
- Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
- Experience: Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
- Providing support to Commissioning
- Willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable experience:
- Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards
