OLG Recruitment are currently looking for an Asbestos Surveyor for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a permanent opportunity working 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Asan Asbestos Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing our sites asbestos database, conducting bulk sampling, and carrying out essential statutory inspections. Youll also be responsible for managing asbestos surveys across various operations, including refurbishment and demolition projects. Your expertise will be essential in helping us prevent asbestos exposure, ensuring compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, and supporting the health and safety of our workforce. Key Responsibilities: Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, producing detailed technical reports. Manage and maintain the asbestos database, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate. Provide bulk asbestos sampling and liaise with our UKAS asbestos analysis laboratory. Advise and support plant areas on all aspects of asbestos management and compliance. Work closely with contractors and external service providers to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
