OLG Recruitment are currently looking for two FLT/Manufacturing Operators for our client located in Elsham. This is a permanent opportunity working 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights with a 1 hour paid break.

Job role: You will be required to provide support in Lamination and slitting departments and participate in all activities of Despatch as required, including moving materials, wrapping material and picking orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick orders following picking list and prepare goods for delivery
  • Accurately complete manual goods in/out
  • Carry out correct identification of materials by label
  • Receive deliveries and distribute accordingly
  • Follow receiving in inspection plans to ensure quality of supplied product
  • Accurately complete and distribute despatch paperwork/documentation
  • Safely operate counterbalance/reach forklift truck, pallet truck and other material handling equipment
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety in department
  • Participate in stock inventory and check as required
  • Wrap reels as defined by specification
  • Transfer all finished products onto shipping pallets using the pallet invertor
  • Operate core cutter machine to cut cores as required
  • Liaise with Team Leader to ensure full waste skips are removed in a timely manner
  • Remove litter and manufacturing waste from designated areas throughout the plant
  • Segregate and organise into correct skips ready for disposal
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in external storage areas e.g. pallets, skips
  • It is most important that we keep car park and all grounds to the perimeter clear of debris and films
  • Move and dispose of material as instructed
  • Following cleaning schedule for factory floor using the ride on sweeper internally on a regular basis
  • Load and unload transport as required
  • Other duties as assigned by the Despatch Manager or Factory Manager

Must have a counterbalance licence
