OLG Recruitment are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer for our client located in Hull. This is a contract position for a minimum of 3 months.

Description:

The role is to back fill the Electrical Asset Engineer whilst on a secondment, and will conduct Business as usual Asset Engineering Activities, including supporting a DSEAR project on site.

We will be looking for the following:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Incorporated/Chartered membership of relevant institute.
  • Good working knowledge of EC&I industry related legislation and Standards i.e. EAWR1989, DSEAR2002, BS7671, BSEN 60079, BSEN 60947, BSEN 62271, etc.
  • Compex Ex12 & 14 or Equivalent.
  • Experience in a 24/7 industrial environment including: Positive SHE commitment & contributions, Maintenance contract management, Operations interface & procedure, Legislative, best practice standards & insurance compliance.
