OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Projects E&I Design Engineer for our client located in Warrington. This is a contract position for a minimum of 10 months. This role has been assessed as inside IR35, PAYE only. You will be required on site 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

Aim: To work within the Projects E&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.

Essential:

  • Academic Qualification: HNC
  • Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer
  • Security Clearance: SC
  • Hours: 37 hours over 4 days a week
  • Location: Working 3 days a week minimum at Hinton House, Warrington, Cheshire
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as an Electrical Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works: Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
  • Providing support to Construction
  • Providing support to Commissioning
  • Willingness to support early career engineers

Desirable Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an E&I Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works:
  • Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing
  • Radiometric & Special Instruments
  • Safety Systems
