OLG Recruitment are currently looking for Electrical Craftspersons for our major client located in Scunthorpe. This is a long-term contract position working Monday to Friday.

As an Electrical Craftsperson you will be required to act as the engineering specialist on days working on overhead cranes to perform preventative maintenance and inspection work to professional standards as required to meet quality control and performance standards. You will also provide expertise and resources to identify and quickly rectify faults to ensure continuity of manufacturing to specified quality standards.

Within the job holder's area of accountability and responsibility:

  • Ensure all activity is undertaken in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's and legislative requirements.
  • Underpin manufacturing performance and support manufacturing improvement and works development plans.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through collaborative working with relevant groups.
  • Ensure that changes to plant, process procedures and organisation are appropriately risk assessed in line with the works management of change process.
  • Be responsible for any isolation and immobilisation related activities for the position of craft maintenance.
