Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Commissioning Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring that data center facilities meet operational, performance, and reliability standards through rigorous testing, evaluation, and documentation processes. This role is an initial 3-month contract with a view to long-term or permanent position. The ideal candidate will be open to working and traveling within the UK and EU.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute commissioning plans for mechanical, electrical, and IT systems.
  • Conduct equipment testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operational teams to meet project milestones.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors during commissioning activities.
  • Maintain detailed commissioning documentation and prepare final reports.

The Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commissioning, preferably within data centers or critical facilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of data center systems, including HVAC, power, and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Flexibility to travel & work within the UK & EU
