We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for our Data CoE driving growth in Data Engineering & Analytics areas. This role combines strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and a focus on building market differentiators. Role will be responsible for establishing and scaling the Data Engineering practice, driving the development of innovative capabilities, and contributing to high-impact client engagements, strategic proposals, and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth of the Data Center of Excellence (CoE) by developing capabilities and differentiators across data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, data quality, and governance.
- Scale the Data Engineering practice by setting foundational standards, hiring top talent, and building NextGen data solutions, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Define and execute data modernization strategies that enable real-time analytics, AI/ML adoption, and enterprise-wide digital transformation.
- Design and deliver modern data platform solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Lakehouse, Lake Formation, Microsoft Fabric) that support scalable analytics, automation, and advanced insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client and internal executives, shaping data roadmaps, governance frameworks, and modernization strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead/guide large-scale delivery programs, providing technical and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
- Support business growth through active participation in opportunity development, RFP responses, solutioning, and client presentations.
- Develop and position differentiated solutions and accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency and strengthen go-to-market offerings.
- Enable and upskill account and delivery teams through structured enablement sessions, training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Drive thought leadership and innovation by authoring whitepapers, conducting webinars, and representing the organization at global industry forums.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to data strategy, architecture, or transformation leadership in global consulting, IT services, or service integration environments, with multi-vertical exposure preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures, and API-driven integrations using platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift.
- Proven ability to lead & deliver large-scale global data transformation programs, mentor cross-functional teams, and influence key stakeholders to align on new initiatives & strategies.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM) using tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica.
- Experience integrating data pipelines with ML Ops, feature stores, and BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), supporting predictive analytics and AI-driven insights.
- Experience in data quality frameworks, monitoring, validation, and automation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across large-scale data environments.
- Ability to build and scale data engineering and analytics practices, develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and differentiated solutions for clients.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and understanding of their impact on modern data architectures and governance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
