We are looking for a skilled mid‑level to senior developer to join a small, focused team dedicated to modernising our infrastructure and expanding our capabilities. Rather than just executing a predefined plan, you will have plenty of scope to provide input, guide technical decisions, and shape the technology we use moving forward.

You will play a dual role in our evolution. First, you will help drive the migration of our legacy systems to a modern AWS/Hybrid architecture utilising containerisation. Second, you will be instrumental in the development of brand new, AWS‑native systems—specifically leveraging AWS Bedrock to support our growing suite of AI‑driven recruitment tools.

Oleeo offer a hybrid way of working in the UK from home and in the office. This role would require attendance in Wimbledon Head Office and individual needs can be discussed at interview.

Elements of the role include:

  • Collaborating within a small team to drive the containerisation and migration of existing legacy platforms to an AWS/Hybrid architecture.
  • Designing and implementing new AWS‑specific systems, with a particular focus on AWS Bedrock to support cutting‑edge AI features.
  • Helping design, shape, and manage AWS deployments using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Providing strategic input on future AWS deployment strategies and best practices.
  • Partnering with development teams to ensure smooth integration, modernisation, and deployment of applications.

Required skills and experience

  • AWS & Cloud Architecture: Hands‑on experience working with Amazon Web Services, including both migrating legacy systems and building greenfield cloud‑native applications.
  • Containerisation: Practical experience with containerising applications for deployment in hybrid or cloud environments.
  • AI & Emerging Tech: Familiarity with—or a strong interest in—AWS Bedrock and developing robust infrastructure to support AI and machine learning tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Solid practical experience using Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and deploy cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying architectural improvements, with the communication skills to guide technical decisions within a team setting.

UK Residency: Must reside in the UK and maintain UK Government SC (security cleared) background check.
