The Oldwalls Collection is one of Wales’ leading luxury wedding and hospitality brands, operating award‑winning venues including Sant Ffraed House and Fairyhill. As we continue to evolve and grow for the next generation of couples, we are seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Sales Manager to lead, inspire and develop our sales function.
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving enquiries, conversions, revenue and retention across the collection whilst delivering an exceptional customer journey from enquiry through to booking.
The Role
- You will lead the day‑to‑day performance of the sales department, supporting and developing the team whilst continually refining processes, systems and customer experience to maximise performance.
- Working closely with the Commercial Director, Marketing and Operations teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future of wedding sales and driving turnover across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Drive enquiry conversion, retention and revenue performance.
- Oversee and continually improve the enquiry‑to‑booking journey.
- Monitor KPIs, forecasting and sales reporting.
- Review and refine sales systems, communication and customer experience.
- Support showcases, campaigns and strategic commercial initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Operations teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.
About You
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
- Commercially driven with strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Passionate about customer experience and team development.
- Confident managing targets, KPIs and performance.
- Experience within hospitality, weddings, or high‑value sales (e.g. cars or property) preferred.
