We are seeking a motivated professional who is passionate about safeguarding the rights, wishes, and wellbeing of individuals, to lead and operationally manage a skilled team of AMHPs. The role requires a commitment to system-wide learning and working and a creativity to drive positive change.
Responsibilities
- Line manage the Dedicated AMHPs, including HR related activity.
- Work with legal services and the Principal Social Worker to review & update Mental Health Act related policies and procedures as they arise, ensuring Oldham AMHP services are legally compliant to undertake our statutory duties.
- Undertake audits of Mental Health Act assessments & provide monthly data reports on Mental Health Act related activity across the system.
- Lead and operationally manage a skilled team of AMHPs, driving system-wide learning and working and demonstrating creativity to drive positive change.

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act, relevant legislation, codes of practice, national guidelines, and government initiatives connected with service delivery.
- AMHP qualification and evidence of up-to-date CPD.
- Experience of management & motivating staff & ensuring work is completed to the required standard.
