Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, deliver and monitor all aspects of Digital Skills and Employment programmes across the Service in support of the Digital Skills and Employment Curriculum Manager.
- Assist the Curriculum Manager with overall Service management and with the development, management and implementation of the staff team and Service policies.
- Identify new developments and initiatives within the Service.
- Assist with data and financial monitoring procedures.
- Contribute to planning and reviewing of the team’s Self‑Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan, in line with Service, Directorate and Corporate objectives.
- Ensure curriculum development and continuous quality improvement within the curriculum.
- Deliver recognised post‑19 qualifications through high‑quality teaching that promotes effective learning and positive learner outcomes.
- Maintain a teaching qualification at Level 4 (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, B.Ed) and digital skills.
- Hold a minimum Level 3 subject specialism qualification.
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and provide practitioner experience relevant to the Post 19 curriculum area.
Qualifications
- Level 4 teaching qualification (e. Certificate in Education, PGCE, B.Ed) with digital skills, or equivalent.
- Minimum Level 3 subject specialism qualification in the relevant curriculum area.
- Practical experience in teaching and curriculum development for the Post 19 sector.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
