Role Overview
To deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment that complies with the quality standards of the service. Course delivery will include a range of digital & business courses; accredited and non-accredited from Entry level to Level 2.
Key Responsibilities
- To prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and relevant resources for the course/s.
- To complete all appropriate administrative tasks, including completion of registers, learner agreement forms, risk assessments and records that support the Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement process (RARPA).
- To set and mark learners’ work as appropriate and provide individual/group feedback to support learning in order to ensure progress.
- To ensure that individual learner needs are met, and that progress is monitored, recorded and reflected in lesson planning.
Key Requirements
- The ability and experience to establish a person‑centred approach to develop a rapport and good trusting relationship with learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work alongside the learner and Curriculum Teams.
