At our happy and thriving school, you will be a key holder with open/closing responsibilities.
You will have experience in maintenance, repairs and DIY experience.
We are looking for someone who is: Practical, resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues independently Experienced in building maintenance, site management or a related trade (desired but not essential) Knowledgeable about health Security and building operation and health and safety checks, which will involve recording details on our Weblog System.
General school maintenance for the building and grounds.
Repairing faults across the school and playgrounds.
Conducting Fire safety checks, including Inducting new staff in fire and evacuation procedures.
Event set up and take down.
Support and assist colleagues to conduct specific/ad hoc caretaking tasks when required.
Cleaning work and supervising cleaning staff.
Grounds work ensuring the school and grounds are clean and tidy.
Dealing with both external and internal contractors.
First Aid (training will be provided).
Carrying out a programme of Risk Assessments for school staff.
Waste/Pest control.
Moving and handling goods and equipment.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively with the Senior Leadership Team, staff
