St Herbert's RC Primary School is a successful, happy, and caring primary school with very high standards expected for all our children and staff. We aim for all our pupils not only to leave school with excellent knowledge and skills, but also to leave as caring, respectful, tolerant, and enthusiastic learners, who are well-equipped to become good citizens of the future. The Governors of St Herbert's School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, well organised and committed School Business Manager to join our hard-working team.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to lead and support other staff confidently.
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
  • Be an excellent team player, who is flexible and self-motivated, and has the ability to reflect and improve.
  • Be willing to support the school's aims, mission and religious character.

Qualifications

  • Have a Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Have excellent communication skills and competent ICT skills.

Salary and terms

  • Salary: Grade 6 (SCP23-27) Β£34,435 - Β£38,220 per annum (full time, full year equivalent).
  • Actual Salary: Β£31,502 - Β£34,966.
  • Hours: 36.66 per week, term time plus 2 weeks.
  • Start Date: 30 March 2026.
