The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of HR Business Partner. Full Time/Full Year, commencing as soon as possible. New Bridge Multi-Academy Trust is a vibrant, aspirational and inclusive multi-academy trust of eight special schools and two specialist post-16 provisions across Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale. As part of the wider New Bridge Group, there are also two post-19 provisions. Our settings support a wide spectrum of needs from age 4-19 and beyond. The Trust is proud to be national leaders in Special Education and has a culture of creating outstanding opportunities for all.
We are at an exciting point in our development, and this role will play a key role in supporting our schools and leaders to deliver high quality education through excellent people management. We are now looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and values-driven HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders, Headteachers and line managers to provide expert, pragmatic HR advice across the full employee lifecycle. The post holder will line manage the HR Advisory team and support delivery of people-related projects as assigned by the Head of HR, and will support our mission to deliver high-quality education and improve outcomes for all young people across our schools.
We invite applications from individuals with substantial experience, ideally already in the education or public sector. The successful candidate will have proven experience and skills around the below:
- Substantial operational HR experience, including casework (ER, disciplinary, grievance)
- Experience of advising and coaching line managers and senior staff on all HR related matters
- Experience supervising or line managing HR staff or equivalent
- Experience of working with trade unions/professional associations
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, to exchange information with a range of audiences, particularly where information can be complicated or of a sensitive nature
- Making a real difference in a complex and rewarding education environment
- High level of discretion, professionalism and sensitivity handling confidential issues
