Bare Trees Primary School – Part Time (0.5, Monday & Tuesday full day, Wednesday am) Fixed Term from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team on a part time basis. This is a fixed term position within our vibrant and inclusive school community for the duration of the academic year 2026/27.

Qualifications

  • Excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (and ideally a broader understanding of the primary phase).
  • Highly motivated and able to develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive.
  • Effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all.
  • Highly effective teacher of Phonics; experience of the Read Write Inc Programme.
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development.
  • Commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs.
  • Experience of supporting EAL learners and ensuring every child can access the curriculum successfully.
  • Committed to their own professional development.
