The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of ICT/Media Co-ordinator for the Springboard Project in Oldham. This is a permanent position, 36 hours and 40 minutes per week, with a salary range of £31,537 - £33,699 per annum, commencing as soon as possible.

Part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust, The Springboard Project provides high quality, innovative alternative educational experiences for pupils and students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties) across the 14-19 age range. Our aim is to meet the needs of our young people, supporting them to gain the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to go into fulfilling life beyond education.

The successful candidate will be a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative. The main aspects of the role include:

  • Solving basic ICT issues for staff and pupils
  • Assisting with the maintenance of hardware and software
  • Supporting the integration and effective use of ICT within the school
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to design and format educational materials and resources

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working with iPads and an awareness of different content creation apps
  • Experience of providing training to small groups or 1:1
  • Knowledge of digital media, such as recording podcasts, photography, videography
  • Knowledge in the design of engaging social media posts across different platforms
  • Knowledge of iPad functionality and apps being used within schools
  • Experience of diagnosing and correcting straightforward faults in ICT hardware and software
  • Communication skills to give information to pupils, teachers and other staff on ICT related issues
