Oldham is a growing team of EPs, assistants, trainees and associates. We are an innovative, nurturing and highly valued service where you will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of psychological work. We operate a service where preventative work is promoted and the graduated approach is strongly valued by all local area partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of educational psychological services across the borough, working with children, young people, families and professionals to assess and treat a broad range of learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Promote preventative work and a graduated approach in partnership with local schools and community organisations.

Key Requirements

  • Honours degree in Psychology (or recognised equivalent) with Graduate Basis for Registration as required by the British Psychological Society.
  • Completion of the qualifying Masters/Doctorate in Educational psychology or currently in final stages of the course, and on track for successful completion before September 2027.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
