Overview
Join our dynamic English Department at Oldham College. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Programme Tutor in English to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners aged 16-18 and adults in achieving their Functional Skills and GCSE English qualifications.

- Salary: £35,242-£43,513 per annum – Potential for up to £45,633 for highly experienced candidates
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching that engages and motivates learners.
- Track and monitor student progress, ensuring they stay on track to achieve their potential.
- Encourage learners to develop independence and apply their English skills in real-world settings.
Qualifications
- A passion for teaching and supporting students of all abilities.
- Experience (or strong potential) in delivering Functional Skills and GCSE English.
- A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- A degree and a recognised teaching qualification; experience in the FE sector is desirable.
