About The Role
We are seeking a committed Programme Tutor – Esports to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities. This role is a 0.6 FTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across Level 1, 2 and 3 Esports programmes.
- Lead the development and growth of an exciting new Esports provision, with opportunities to shape future HE pathways.
- Inspire and support learners to achieve their full potential through high‑quality teaching and pastoral care.
- Build strong relationships with learners, parents and industry partners to promote excellent attendance, engagement and outcomes.
- Work with leading partners including the British Esports Federation, Manchester City in the Community, Manchester City Esports and Williams F1.
- Help develop an industry‑leading Esports curriculum within state‑of‑the‑art specialist facilities.
- Embed the College's values of Integrity, Ambition and Inclusion in everything you do.
- Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments.
Skills And Experience
- Relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and subject expertise in Esports or a related field.
- Experience delivering engaging teaching and achieving positive learner outcomes.
- Passion for Esports and an understanding of the industry's current trends and opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with learners, parents and external partners.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and provide effective pastoral support to learners.
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and inclusive practice.
