We are seeking a committed Casual Exams Administrator to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities. This is a casual role, and hours will be assigned depending on the needs of the college; flexibility will be required for any successful applicants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • Manage examination entries and registrations, ensuring accurate and timely input of student and curriculum data.
  • Coordinate examination arrangements, including timetables, rooming, invigilation and online examination processes.
  • Ensure examination materials and documentation are securely managed, in line with Awarding Organisation regulations and audit requirements.
  • Process and distribute examination results, maintaining accurate student records and achievement data.
  • Provide effective examination support, responding to staff and student queries, investigating discrepancies and assisting with off-site examinations and invigilation.
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a busy office or education environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Strong IT and data skills, including experience using spreadsheets, databases, word processing and accurate data input.
  • Effective communication and teamwork, with the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues, students and external organisations to resolve queries.
  • Ability to work accurately and independently, analyse information, make informed decisions and adapt quickly to new systems and changing priorities.
