Most garages need a Service Advisor. We’re looking for someone who understands hospitality. At Oldfields Garage, we believe customers should feel looked after from the moment they contact us. Calm, reassured, informed and genuinely welcome. That’s why this role is far more than answering phones and booking vehicles in. You’ll be a huge part of the customer experience in a modern independent garage known for professionalism, communication and exceptionally high standards. This isn’t the stereotypical garage environment. We’ve built Oldfields around what we call “The Oldfields Standard”. That means:
- Clean and professional surroundings
- Modern systems and processes
- Clear communication
- Pride in presentation
- Genuine care for customers
- Doing things properly, not just quickly
Customers trust us because they know they’ll be looked after properly. Your role is a massive part of that.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming customers and managing front-of-house
- Handling calls, emails and bookings
- Keeping customers updated throughout the day
- Explaining work clearly and professionally
- Coordinating workflow with technicians
- Ordering parts and working closely with our supply partners
- Helping provide the right solutions for customers and their vehicles
- Preparing estimates, invoices and customer paperwork
- Managing jobs from booking through to vehicle handover
- Helping create a calm, organised customer journey
- Ensuring customers leave feeling confident and valued
We think you’ll suit this role if you:
- Enjoy working with people
- Communicate confidently and professionally
- Naturally take pride in things
- Stay calm under pressure
- Like organisation and structure
- Genuinely care about customer experience
- Have strong attention to detail
- Take ownership and see things through
You’re the sort of person who notices when something isn’t quite right. You don’t wait to be asked. You care about getting things done properly.
Experience:
Understanding the motor trade is helpful, but hospitality, customer service or front-of-house experience can be just as valuable. We can teach the technical side. Attitude, care and professionalism matter more.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Ongoing training and development
- Supportive and professional team environment
- Opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking business
