Location: Coventry

Reports to: Marketing Manager

About Us: We’re not your typical accountancy practice. Yes, we deliver expert accounting, tax, and advisory services but growth is at the heart of everything we do, for our clients and our business. We operate from modern premises in Coventry and provide excellent working conditions for everyone that chooses to create their career with Oldfield.

Our Values:

  • Own It: Take ownership, however difficult, and follow through. No excuses.
  • Be Passionate: A real drive to do the best that can be done, in the best possible way.
  • Go Further: Dig beneath the surface, question and challenge, and look for the best answer rather than the easy one.
  • Create Solutions: If the answer is not right there, you find it. Or you create it.
  • Earn Confidence: Assurance with humility. Colleagues and clients trust your word and act on it.

Role Objective: Put Oldfield in front of the right business owners, consistently and turn that attention into qualified conversations for our sales team. We are building the commercial engine that takes this firm to high growth. We need a deliberate, authority driven market presence.

What You’ll Own:

  • Campaign delivery: The management & execution – every piece of outreach needs a reason behind it. You will lead on the angle, the audience, the copy, the design, the build in HubSpot, the test, the send, the follow-up. This includes our webinars and events.
  • Content that earns attention: Insight pieces, guides, case studies, event material, social and email. Your content has to work through the channels we control: email, social, events and the conversations our advisers are having.
  • Targeting and segmentation: Our ideal client is specific: owner-managed businesses of roughly £1m–£20m turnover in construction, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, and business services. You use what HubSpot knows to decide who gets what, and to make each campaign sharper than the last.
  • Arming the sales team: Sequences, templates, decks and collateral that get used and stay current, plus support for account-based approaches on high-value targets.
  • Measurement and learning: Report honestly on what each campaign did, through to meetings booked. Your job is to extract insight and intelligence from HubSpot and feed it back to the Marketing Manager, the partners, and the business development team.

What Sets You Apart:

  • 3–5 years delivering B2B campaigns and content in professional services, business services, or another consultative sell sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub/CRM.
  • You can write copy that sounds like a person, and the ability to turn a technical subject into something a busy business owner will actually read.
  • Enough design ability for clean, professional emails, documents and social assets.
  • Speed with judgement. You get a lot out of the door, and you know which pieces are worth doing properly.
  • Self-management. Your calendar, your priorities, your output - without being chased.
  • A sensible view of AI. It should make you faster.

Who This Role Is Not For:

  • Someone who needs a fully formed brief before they can start.
  • Someone whose output depends on an agency.
  • Someone who would rather plan campaigns than ship them.

Company Benefits:

  • Company car or car allowance option (after qualifying period in the role)
  • Profit share scheme (after qualifying period in the role)
  • Private Healthcare (after qualifying period in the role)
  • Free quality lunch 4 days a week
  • 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Reward lunches
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment
