Job Purpose: Make the vision of transforming quality of life for business owners a reality for the clients you are responsible for. Representing the Oldfield brand to our clients and developing a great relationship with them, in view of client retention and creating fans that will refer us to others.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Relationships & Communication: Understand client business objectives and business model and provide insight to support business strategy. Build consistent trust with clients, proactively understand and respond to their needs. Listen and support others during conversation, anticipating the needs of the client. Proactive follow up of any meeting actions and queries. Preparation and support for meetings – including agenda, KPI reports, and minute-taking during meetings.
  • Sales & Business Planning: Recognise simple upselling opportunities. Target high-value opportunities and convert them with assistance of Senior Client Adviser. Deliver a high-quality service that meets client expectations. Independently achieve revenue targets through consistent effort. Understand business principles, KPIs, what drives profitability, cashflow and business value. Make independent decisions within scope of role, seeking advice from supervisors when faced with unfamiliar challenges. Provide financial solutions to moderately complex problems.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Minimum of one year experience within an accounting role.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Readiness to learn sales skills to enable upselling to clients.
  • Willingness to develop an understanding of key tax matters – corporation tax, personal tax, IHT, CGT etc.
