About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer will be working within Hydro International\’s UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Nottingham branch.
In this job you will…
- Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
- Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
- Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
- Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
- Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
About You
- Current valid driving license.
- City & Guilds qualified.
- Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.
