The Mechanical Engineer will be working within Hydro International\’s UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom. The role is based at our Dumfries branch.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
- Carry out site inspections, fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors on sites associated with wastewater (sewage).
- Travel frequently with regular overnight stays; occasional work in workshops across the country.
- Collaborate as part of a team with other staff and trades within the business.
About You
- Current valid driving licence.
- City & Guilds qualified.
- Completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.
