Role Overview: As an Assistant Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team. The role encompasses reporting, financial analysis and day-to-day accounting support. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
What our new Assistant Accountant will be doing:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities
- Generate journals for accrual & prepayment and other manual transactions
- Complete monthly reconciliations
- Review accounts for accuracy
- Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
The experience our new Assistant Accountant will have includes:
- Part of fully qualified with a recognised professional body (such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment with rigid month-end procedures and timelines
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems and good Excel skills
