We're looking for a General Manager for a fantastic community pub in Whetstone. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package. Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Old Vicarage and lead the team to success!

About the pub:

The Old Vicarage is a charming, characterful pub in a prime Whetstone location, perfectly positioned on a busy main road and surrounded by a strong, supportive local community. With its welcoming feel and well balanced mix of quality food and drink, it’s a much loved neighbourhood pub with plenty of room to grow. Trading at £22,000 a week (60/40 wet led), the site already enjoys solid community links – and the right General Manager will build on these foundations, strengthening local relationships and driving both food and drink sales.

This role would suit someone who thrives at the heart of a community, enjoys being a familiar face, and knows how to deliver a consistently great guest experience. There’s significant opportunity to develop the offer further, enhance sales, and shape the next chapter of this popular pub. A spacious two bedroom flat above the pub is available for the incoming General Manager.
