What you'll be doing:
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operation of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the F&B team, providing coaching, guidance, and hands-on support throughout service periods.
- Oversee daily service operations, ensuring smooth coordination between restaurant, bar, banqueting, and kitchen teams.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, proactively resolving concerns and ensuring every guest receives attentive and professional service.
- Assist with staff scheduling, rota management, and labour planning to ensure efficient staffing levels.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives, helping team members reach their full potential.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing, and company standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Support the delivery of departmental budgets, revenue targets, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, cash handling checks, and operational audits where required.
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistently high-quality guest experience.
- Act as a role model on the floor, leading by example during busy service periods and supporting the team wherever needed.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound understanding of food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, stock control, and operational performance.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards across all areas of the operation.
