The independently owned Old Parsonage Hotel, centrally located in Oxford city centre, is a 5-star hotel with 35 luxury bedrooms. The Old Parsonage is part of ‘The Oxford Collection,’ a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Booking taxis and giving directions.
  • Room service to assist hotel guests with drinks and food orders from the night menu.
  • Maintaining all necessary aspects of security for the hotel during the night shift.
  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel, observing housekeeping status, ensuring correct rates are charged, and that all services are correctly billed.
  • Processing guests’ payments and banking cash and cheques received during your shift.
  • Following correct shift procedures and checklists at all times, ensuring daily tasks are completed and a thorough handover takes place at the end of your shift.

Requirements of the Night Supervisor:

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience working in a similar guest-facing role.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.

We offer an excellent rate of pay for a part-time position, working 3 shifts per week, from 10pm to 7am, with an OTE up to £16.10 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).
