We are looking for a part-time cleaner at Gees Restaurant & Bar, which is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants. Having recently undergone a complete refurbishment programme, we have 80 bedrooms across three iconic properties in central Oxford, with unrivalled views across the city’s beautiful skyline. Set within a unique, Grade II listed glasshouse, Gees is North Oxford’s neighbourhood restaurant, and soon to become the well-established destination for adventurous, exciting, modern British cooking.
We offer support, training, and development opportunities to help your career flourish. Our Housekeeping team is key in providing the highest level of cleanliness for our hotel and restaurant guests. You will be keen and hard-working with an interest in hospitality.
Responsibilities as a part-time Cleaner for Gees:
- Cleaning thoroughly the main dining space and ‘Gees Gallery’ (an adjacent private dining space for up to 50 guests)
- Cleaning the toilets
- Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by the Head Housekeeper and Deputy Head Housekeeper
Requirements for the role:
- Have high-level attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude, with a keen willingness to learn
- Previous experience as a cleaner beneficial
- Working in pair
- Maintaining polite and professional manners at all times
We offer 10 to 12 hours per week working Monday-Saturday from 6AM to 8.30AM / Sunday from 7AM to 9AM / Working 5 shifts per week on a Monday-Sunday rota with 2 days off, with an OTE up to £13.50 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).
