We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistant Level 3 SEN (Animal Care and Curriculum) to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School. This is a Grade 5, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £24,998 and the full time equivalent is £29,064.

Main Purpose of the Job

Take a lead in the care of the animals in school; they will promote responsibility, wellbeing, and hands‑on learning through the care of school animals. To support the structured curriculum, lead with the resourcing and organisation within the structured department.

About the Candidate

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEN) to specialise in animal care and structured curriculum to support students in developing animal care skills. You will also need to be a self‑motivated individual with a great deal of empathy and tact to build excellent interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders and be able to work collaboratively, driving continuous improvement to support student success.
