The Northwest Regional Strategic Migration Partnership (RSMP) is hosted by Manchester City Council but works across the North West region. We work with councils and other statutory, voluntary, community and private sector organisations to help support positive local responses to migration. If you are looking to lead a team working across a range of policy and immigration areas, we want to hear from you.

If you are successful you will join a team seeking to maximise the benefits, and mitigate the impact, of migration on local authorities and all communities. This includes working across a range of migration, dispersal and resettlement programmes, and working with local, regional and national stakeholders.

You will be the central point of contact for sharing best practice and co-ordinating strategic work on migration across the Northwest. You will be proud and passionate about promoting and protecting the interests of local authorities and other key stakeholders, and effectively influencing national policy.

An in depth knowledge and clear understanding of relevant national, regional and local strategy, policy, legislation, issues and trends relevant to asylum, refugee resettlement, unaccompanied children and other forms of international migration.
