About the Candidate
We are seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Teacher of Mathematics to join our school on a maternity cover basis, delivering a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum that enables all students to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, assess and monitor progress, and create a learning experience that is stimulating, inclusive and aligned with our school’s ethos and values. You will also uphold safeguarding responsibilities and maintain high professional standards, while working within a supportive and forward‑thinking team committed to raising attainment and personal development for all learners. The role also includes contributing to students’ wider personal development through form tutoring, supporting behaviour for learning systems, and promoting student wellbeing. As an integral member of the faculty and wider school community, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, engage with families, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in whole‑school activities such as academic tutorials, open evenings, and enrichment events.
