We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our fantastic team. Previous experience of working within a school environment would be preferable but we will also consider applicants with transferable skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the admin team in maintaining an efficient, high-quality office service
  • Support pupil welfare, including assisting with first aid and liaising with parents and staff
  • Provide professional clerical support to the whole school community
  • Undertake reception duties, including face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors
  • Processing purchases and invoices
  • Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and visitors
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and data protection at all times

The successful candidate will have

  • A positive, can-do attitude and good teamwork skills

  • The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Good communication skills and a friendly manner with children
  • Experience in a school administrative/finance environment (desirable, but not essential)
  • A current knowledge of school procedures
