North Ridge is an Outstanding specialist high school for pupils with persistent and complex special educational needs, aged 11‑19 years. We are a fast‑developing school split across two sites, with a range of student‑led businesses, located at our Sixth‑Form Hub in Cheetham Hill.

The suitable candidate will be able to teach pupils with a range of learning disabilities and associated needs, and will thrive in a school with a positive, caring ethos where teamwork is important.
About the Candidate
- Demonstrate excellent standards in teaching and learning, having worked with SEN pupils for at least two years.
- Have strong knowledge of the English curriculum and ability to lead all departments in providing excellent English teaching to their classes as non‑specialist teachers.
- Be proactive in driving the English curriculum to ensure it continuously meets the needs of all learners and aligns with developments from the DFE.
- Be an excellent role model to colleagues across the school, demonstrating strong attendance and punctuality.
