This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated manager to join us and lead our expanding Adult Social Care Charging Team at Manchester. As a member of the Revenues and Benefits Service Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused financial assessment service. You will ensure that adults receiving care are assessed promptly, accurately and fairly, in line with the Care Act 2014 and associated charging regulations.
You will lead our team of Financial Assessment Officers, driving performance, continuous improvement, and excellent outcomes for residents, ensuring the Team maximise opportunities for income collection and supports the wider Adult Social Care function.
You will use your knowledge and experience of ASC financial assessments when representing the service at project workstreams, forums and regional networks. You will lead on complex cases, complaints and Member enquiries and contribute to and support digital transformation, innovation, and service redesign to improve efficiency and customer experience.

About the Candidate
- Strong development, management, and motivation skills, providing leadership and direction.

- Current expertise in the administration and delivery of Adults Financial Assessments functions including knowledge of the national framework within which the role operates.
