We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated EYFS Teacher to work in our well regarded, successful EYFS unit. For the right candidate we would consider appointing as EYFS Lead.

At St Wilfrid’s Primary School we work hard to ensure we meet the needs of all of our children through quality first teaching, adaptive teaching and child initiated learning. We want our children to thrive and have the best experiences as they begin their learning journey. We need somebody, as amazing as our children, to work alongside our existing staff or potentially lead our EYFS children and staff from strength to strength.

  • Is an experienced and passionate EYFS practitioner/previous EYFS leader.
  • Has a clear, ambitious and research-informed vision for Early Years.
  • Has a track record which demonstrates consistently strong practice and impact.
  • Has a passion for ensuring that every child has the best possible start to their education.
  • Will develop and resource an aspirational environment, indoors and out, that supports the learning, independence and curiosity of every child.
  • Can motivate, inspire and develop a team, modelling high expectations and professional integrity.
  • Is outward facing and committed to establishing strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.
  • Has the ability to provide coaching and development to staff.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding issues.
  • Is a positive and flexible team player who wants to make a difference.
  • Is highly organised and motivated.
  • Is positive and able to persevere.
  • Can remain calm under pressure.
