About the Role

This role sits at the front end of Manchester’s Renters’ Rights Advice service, providing early, practical support so situations can be addressed quickly and fairly. It is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where no two days look the same. You’ll deal with a range of enquiries, supporting tenants at risk of losing their home and working with landlords and agents to resolve issues early. The focus is on early intervention, problem‑solving and preventing issues from escalating into homelessness or more complex disputes. You will identify housing risks early, provide clear advice, and help stabilise situations before they escalate. By stepping in at the right time, you’ll help prevent avoidable homelessness, support better outcomes across the private rented sector, and reduce pressure on statutory services.
