We are looking for a Caretaker with a positive outlook to join our staff team. As Caretaker, you will work closely with the Business Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the school premises. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety, security, and overall condition of the school site.
Key responsibilities:
- Site maintenance and repairs, including regular site inspections.
- Health and safety compliance, adhering to guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
- Security, opening and closing the school site, monitoring access and responding to any emergencies (out of hours and weekend work in exceptional circumstances).
- Assisting with furniture moves, room setups for events, and cleaning, as well supervising the cleaning team.
- Seasonal tasks, including clearing leaves, snow and ice to ensure safe walkways and carrying out premises and grounds checks.
