The governing body is seeking to appoint two teachers with a strong track record of ensuring high outcomes for pupils across the curriculum. Teacher vacancies are in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. One of the teacher positions comes with a potential subject leadership position with TLR2a dependent on the successful candidate's readiness or knowledge and experience.
About the Candidate
We are looking for candidates to teach in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 of our forward‑looking, diverse and vibrant school. All candidates should show a commitment to engaging with professional development and an understanding of the need to ensure that all of our pupils access an engaging and high quality education. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to successfully implementing the Teachers' Standards and be able to demonstrate high expectations of all pupils. Candidates should have experience of engaging with parents, colleagues and other professionals to support the development of all pupils. As well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, they need to be creative, show initiative and be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of our pupils. There is the potential of a subject leadership position (with TLR2a) for one of the successful candidates dependent on readiness or demonstration of knowledge and experience of subject leadership. Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a Nursery and Resourced Provision located in Beswick, close to the city centre of Manchester and in very close proximity to the Etihad stadium. We are a vibrant and multicultural school community with 460 pupils currently on role. We have a very engaged and positive team of staff who want to ensure that our educational offer meets the needs of all of our pupils and enables them all to reach their full potential.
