The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant who is committed and passionate about Early Years provision and is able to provide high quality support.
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Can support the EYFS team to deliver high quality teaching and learning in Early Years
- Is well organised, able to use their initiative and have excellent time management
- Is able to attend to children\’s personal needs including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, minor first aid and welfare matters
- Is able to support and facilitate the work of others
- Is flexible and adaptable, be able to work under pressure and be able to work to deadlines
- Is able to form successful relationships with children, other staff, parents and the wider community
- Someone who has a sense of humour

About Us
St Augustine’s is a small vibrant, multicultural, inner city school with 200 pupils on roll. It is a 1 form entry school with a 26 place Nursery.
At St Augustine’s we pride ourselves on our positive relationships between staff, pupils and parents.
