About The Role

Qualifications Required: Qualified Teacher status, Educated to degree level, National Award for SEND co-ordination
Start Date: 1st June 2025
Salary: £51,027 – £56,317 per annum

The Assistant Headteacher, under the direction of the Headteacher, will take a major role in:

  1. Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
  2. Establishing, developing, and modelling the implementation of policies to achieve these aims and objectives
  3. Leading a culture of inclusion within the school community where all views are valued and considered
  4. Determining the strategic development of inclusion policies and provisions in areas such as SEND, EAL, and Pupil Premium
  5. Providing professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents, and other agencies
  6. Managing staff and resources effectively towards these goals
  7. Monitoring progress towards the school\’s aims and objectives
  8. Leading Personal Development across the school
  9. Serving as the inclusion lead for behaviour, well-being, and pastoral care
  10. Keeping up to date with inclusive practices

About the Candidate

We are seeking a caring, passionate, and dedicated Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Personal Development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and all stakeholders—including children, staff, parents/carers, families, the community, governors, the CLIC Trust team, and the local authority—to ensure an exemplary educational experience and excellent outcomes for all children.
