Salary: £51,027 – £56,317 per annum
The Assistant Headteacher, under the direction of the Headteacher, will take a major role in:
- Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
- Establishing, developing, and modelling the implementation of policies to achieve these aims and objectives
- Leading a culture of inclusion within the school community where all views are valued and considered
- Determining the strategic development of inclusion policies and provisions in areas such as SEND, EAL, and Pupil Premium
- Providing professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents, and other agencies
- Managing staff and resources effectively towards these goals
- Monitoring progress towards the school\’s aims and objectives
- Leading Personal Development across the school
- Serving as the inclusion lead for behaviour, well-being, and pastoral care
- Keeping up to date with inclusive practices
About the Candidate
We are seeking a caring, passionate, and dedicated Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Personal Development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and all stakeholders—including children, staff, parents/carers, families, the community, governors, the CLIC Trust team, and the local authority—to ensure an exemplary educational experience and excellent outcomes for all children.
