We’re recruiting for a Salaried GP (6–8 sessions) to join our small, friendly team at Old Farm Surgery in Paignton, just six minutes from the beach. We work in a relatively deprived area, with deep roots in our community and close links with local organisations. This role is ideal for someone who values community‑focused continuity of care and is interested in a future partnership opportunity. One partner will be retiring in the medium‑term and this post is part of our succession planning.

About us:

  • A supportive, close knit and stable team (we’re the smallest practice in Torbay, and proud of it).
  • We have two GP partners, one salaried GP, one GP retainer and a fabulous nursing and administrative team.
  • We are a training practice with a strong focus on development and education.
  • We regularly host medical students, foundation doctors and GP Registrars.
  • We use EMIS.
  • There is no duty doctor system – workload is distributed fairly.
  • All appointments are triaged and the majority are managed on the same day.

Minimum working days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.

Salary - Competitive

Population: 5,800 patients
